In an emergency situation, there is nothing more important to us than getting immediate, quality care for your pet. That's why we've teamed up with Rose Veterinary Hospital to provide consistent, reliable after-hours emergency care for our Fourmile clients and Rose clients.
If you have an emergency, do not hesitate to call. If it is during our normal business hours, please call us, and we will do our best to get you seen by one of the veterinarians. After hours, you will be directed to the veterinarian on call, who will be a veterinarian from either Fourmile Veterinary Clinic or Rose Veterinary Hospital. If your pet is seen at Rose Veterinary Hospital, all clinical records of your emergency visit will be transferred to Fourmile to ensure appropriate care during your pet's follow-up visits.
If, due to the nature of the emergency, your pet requires continued hospitalization, we will consult with you to determine if it is best for your pet to remain at the clinic of emergency care or return to the pet's home clinic. Please note, although we provide an on-call veterinarian, Fourmile does not offer 24-hour staffing at the clinic. This means if we recommend 24-hour intensive hospitalized care, we may refer you to a 24-hour emergency clinic in Pueblo or Colorado Springs.
Note: Full payment is required at the time of the emergency visit. We accommodate our clients by accepting payment in the form of cash, check, or credit, and by honoring pet insurance plans.
